Clarissa Scarlet Trevelyne
Age:
Nineteen
Patriot, Loyalist, Neutral/Undecided, Hessian, French, N. American:
Her family is of loyalist standing, though she secretly leans towards the Patriots.
Physical Appearance:
Clarissa gives the appearance and looks of a lady. Despite her tiny stature, she is built with curves. A short torso is filled out by a voluptuous chest, a small waist, and full hips that lean down to long, lean legs. Skin barely kissed by the sun, is flawless to the eyes of most with the exception of a line of freckles across the bridge of her nose. Beneath her clothes are a myriad of small scars and marks from her childhood jaunts with her brother.
Her hair is dark, chocolate brown, nearly black, and falls in thick, natural curls. It is often wild and untamed, giving her an almost childlike and innocent look, combined with the fire in her eyes that give her a look of mischief and danger. Her lady's maid often tries to tame the thick, dark curls, but often gives up and leaves it to do as it pleases.
Clarissa often dresses to suit her body, in light warm colors for day wear, but in deeper, jewel tones that compliment her coloring for social events. They are often lower cut to accent the full curve of her bosom and the long lines of her neck, an as close cut to her hourglass figure as she can get away with.

Her mother, who had hoped for a beautiful little girl to nurture and groom into a trophy for any man had little time for her awkward, ungainly little girl, which left Clarissa free to educate herself and to watch her father.
The Trevelyne family has always been said to breed the best horses in England, and had continued the tradition in the colonies. And, despite her plain looks, Alexander took the time to educated not only his son but his little girl on the basics of breeding horses. And Clarissa, with a mind like a sponge, soaked up every bit of information she could get her hands on. As soon as she could read she began working her way through the family library, and helping her father keep the breeding books on his operation.
She spent most of her time in the stables, knee deep in mud, helping with the horses, learning to ride, and growing. By the time she reached sixteen, little Clairy was not he long limbed, unattractive girl she had been anymore. It seemed that sunlight and fresh air had allowed her to blossom into Clarissa Trevelyne, the heart breaker. Intelligent, witty, with looks to kill and a dazzling smile, it would not take long for suitors to come calling to her father.
But Clarissa was an asset to her father. While his eldest son went back to their homeland to attend the Royal Military Academy, Clarissa helped keep the business running. As such, he was in no hurry to marry her off, despite his wife's protests. And it did him a great service when tensions in the colonies began. While the Trevelyne father and son would fight for the homelands, Clarissa found herself of a different opinion . To avoid being thrown out on the streets, she kept herself quiet, and held down the fort at the Trevelyne house while the General and his son ran off to play soldier.
