Name:
Daniel Todd Jr.
Age:
19
Physical Appearance:
Daniel is a fairly tall individual for his age. He stands at 5'11 and weighs 86 kg. Most would consider him attractive if not for the constant gunpowder that smothers his face. He has fair colored skin, and has black hair with a grayish blue set of eyes. He has a cut over the right side of his lip and by the looks of it, a golden ring that will never seem to leave his finger.
Strengths: Daniel is a quick learner, able to catch onto details quickly. He has a deadly aim, with the added ability of being able to get to point A to point B in the most efficient and effective way possible meaning he's a expert Marksman, and a very skilled climber. Fortunately enough, he's great at creating diversions. Sometimes, all he has to yell is "Distraction!" and a plan can never go awry.
Weaknesses: As it is also his strength, it's also his weakness. Daniel sometimes creates to much noise and draws attention to himself, and the people he's with, which is why he prefers to be alone even though he doesn't really like it. Math is not Daniel's strong point, and calculating numbers is very difficult for him, which is a reason why his father never trusted him with too much money.
Background: Daniel Todd was a Captain in the British Army. He was renowned for his bravery and elite fighting skills throughout his platoon and a few others. He married to a young gentlewoman he met off-duty. They bore a son which they named after Daniel himself, whom they loved and gave much compassion to. As a boy, Daniel was very kind and warm-hearted. Though, he was a infamous delinquent in his area. He got in trouble so often, though he barely got caught in the act as he either did the act with friends, or he tried to escape by rooftop. Word would eventually reach his father who disciplined him harshly only to get his son to learn.
There came a day when Daniel was about 14 and both his mother and father set out to embark to the new found colonies. His father had been stationed there, and they thought it'd be a great learning experience for Daniel. However, a couple of months went into the trip and they were almost to shore. They were attacked by a band of pirates that called themselves "The Death Harbingers." The crew killed most of the passengers aboard the ship on their way to America. There were a few remaining that only consisted of the elderly, women, and children including Daniel himself. Some of the pirates attempted to rape Daniel's mother, but that only added onto the trouble she'd gotten herself into from the rebellion she tried to throw after the death of his father. She was murdered and her body was cast off to drift among the other bodies of men that died trying to protect the ship.
Daniel was offered a chance to join the pirates until they reached America. What choice did he have really? He didn't want to die. So not only did he tag along with the Pirates. He became one of them. For a few months, they conquered small cargo ships, stealing supplies and resources. Daniel found that he had a gift for being proficient with ranged weaponry. He even believed once that he could hold off thousands of men without looking once. By the time they reached America, Daniel was 16. Already aging and ahead of where he was supposed to be. Mainly his course was Boston, but they shifted over to New York. Daniel was quite fine with it, as he had nowhere else to go.
He joined the local Militia, and with his previous experience with the pirates and hearing stories about the British, he joined up with Patriots in hopes that he'd be part of the winning side. Though that's what he told people at least. He truly believed that his life was already over as he enjoyed what he had and was willing to throw his life away. He wanted to die fighting of course. So why not?
