Some regiments are clearly missing. The 59th Regiment of Foot saw action, but was severely decimated in 1775. Other Regiments are stationed in Quebec, the West Indies, or are scattered throughout the frontier. Others haven't arrived or been formed yet. Also, if there isn't much information on a particular regiment, it has been omitted for the purpose of brevity in this list.
For those of you unfamiliar with the regimental system, a regiment is led a colonel. Each regiment is broken down into two battalions led by a lieutenant colonel or colonel. A battalion is divided into several companies led by a captain or major. Each company has three platoons led by a lieutenant (pronounced 'leftenant').
I am happy to provide assistance in research. Any and all questions about the British Army are welcome. Finally, if there are any errors that need to be corrected, please tell me. I value historical accuracy even in an AU setting.
